EP Sunset. The subject is traffic heading toward the westside of
El Paso,Texas. We call this an urban landscape.
I love this photograph because of the colors and the gritty feeling
of the traffic on this road. EP Sunset has captured a beautiful sunset
which El Paso is known for. I also love the way that the Franklin
Mountains are in silhouette against the beautiful colors of orange
and yellow in the sky. This creates drama. The sunset is drawn though the
whole photo by the reflections of the sunset on the cars though out the
photograph.
Rick has an amazing way of capturing an everyday moment and making it
special, by using great design principals. He shifting between
light and dark elements, draws your eye though the photograph.
