Christy Guinan is a Portland Oregon Artist. She grew up in El Paso Texas and went to the University of North Texas to study visual arts. While there she studied under Rob Erdel the renowned watercolor artist, Vernon Fisher, a conceptual painter, Robert Jessup a well-known abstract painter and Millie Giles a wonderful watercolor painter.  These are the people that have influenced her work.

Christy works in watercolor, acrylic, and multimedia collage. She also does photography and works with yarn creating creatures, dolls, and other wearable art.
