Adam Long - Sound Design

My good friend Adam Long, who brings a certain genious to any project he touches, consented to do the sound design. I've worked with him on many projects and none have failed!!!!

Jillian Downing Credits and Graphic Consulting

Born in Portland Oregon, raised mostly in Portland Oregon. She got her start in high school making videos, doing lighting for events and was on the film editing track. She changed tracks to follow design in graphic design. A few years later, still attatched to the love of film, she now is doing motion grpahics for films. Jillian is excited for the opportunity to work on this great project. She is a graphic designer focusing on motion graphics.

Andy Diefenbock Animator

While everyone is impressed with Andrew's new nasal extraction theories, one of our instructors (Mike) turned him on to our little production and has been in the thick of it since summer break. As soon as he finishes up section 2/4, we'll be over half way done with our cartoon

Go Andy, Go!!

...but no pressure though

Oh yeah, shoot me a bio and I'll post it for you.

Caley Sowers-Animator

Cayley was actually shanghaied onto this production. She merely stopped by the Cage to reserve our righteous pencil test station and happen to see me in the back. (it's hard not to see me, I'm large and loud) Well, she made the mistake of asking me about 'Potl' and how we were faring. Faster than you can say "I'm taking five classes, I had a section into her hand. Go Cayley, that section is a lynch pin!

Daniel Raffel-Cleaner

Born in El Paso Texas in 1972, he graduated from Coranado High School and made his way over to College Station to attend Texas A&M. Dan stuck with it from '91 to '93 then left for a Graphic Design job. After six years he moved to Portland and returned to school in '04, enrolling in the MAB at AiPD where he is known as "The King of the Cage"

all hail the King!

Cara Hollowell-Animator

Born and Raised in the city of sin, she found her way to P-town where, after four years of liberal arts, she grabbed her degree and fled the ivory tower to live a more animated life. Now if she only spent as much time making cartoons as she does watching them, she would rule the world.

Speedy Gonzoles - was he a racey character? That's racist Rick.

Gary Hogue-Animator

Born in Utah, April 29, 1976, where I spent the first 12 years of my life. Finally we moved and from there I've lived in Atlanta, GA, Los Angeles, CA, Middle of Nowhere, TX (Gonzales, it isn't actually nowhere but felt like it...) After that I've also lived in Southern Utah, Northern, CA and now Portland. I've drawn all my life but didn't finally pursue art as a career until a few years ago.

We call him the ROCK!!, and indeed he does.

Kit Vohs-Animator

Kit was hatched from a desert egg in Florence Az. People soon discovered she was different - it might have been the blue skin and horns protruding from her head or possibly when she ate the neighbor's dog Fifi...

Kit is fascinated by all things Art. She enjoys mask making, painting skulls, and using her animation skills to scar small children and maim fluffy little animals. If she gets enough animation jobs THAT PAY (Rick!!), she hopes to return to her fabled home planet...Zyron 5.

Kalina Torino-Animator

Kalina Torino was conceived, born and raised in McMinville, OR. Shespent all of her formative years making FIMO sculptures for herteachers and drawing pictures during math and science class. In middle school she self-published the first installment of the infamous"Stickman Comics." despite the controversial content, the comic flourished and proved itself by relieving the tedious boredom enducedby continuous attendance of class. In high school she she deterred from her artistic pursuits and became a band geek. Eventually, thecreative urge began to stir within her once again. She turned back toher roots in the spring of 2003 and painted a panel for the Mayor's Ball. From then on, her urges flowed freely in the realm of art and she found herself swept ashore at the Art Institute of Portland. And here she thrives, her creativity sparked by those around her. One person in particular: the notorious Richard Guinan. Today, Kalina works happily under this most curiously abnormal (in the good-kind-of-way), outrageuosly inventive individual.

P.S. POTL rocks the bouy.

Rick Guinan Writer/Director

Born and raised in Texas he earned a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of North Texas. After that he moved to Austin to work on an independent comic by the name of the Budget Strips. When his partner quit shortly after 9/11, he packed up and spent a couple of years trying to sell his house to move up to Portland Or. He accomplished this feat in the fall of 2003, and enrolled in the digital media program at AiPD. POTL is the wrap up of this degree and his final project.
